Meade Rifle and Pistol Club

Meade Rifle and Pistol Club membership unlocks access to the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore (AGC), a network of 26 affiliated shooting facilities across Maryland. Instead of joining multiple clubs, MRPC membership qualifies you for AGC access with a range badge.

Once you have your badge, you can use:

• •25-yard pistol range
• •100-yard rifle range (any centerfire caliber)
• •200-yard high-power rifle range
• •Four trap ranges
• •Archery range

AGC ranges operate year-round: 8 AM–8 PM (or dusk) weekdays, 9 AM–8 PM (or dusk) weekends and holidays

MRPC supports CMP participation, tying members into a program with deep historical roots. The CMP traces back to post-Civil War observations about soldier marksmanship, eventually leading to the formation of the National Rifle Association. Congress formalized civilian marksmanship training in the early 1900s to ensure Americans had basic firearms proficiency.

Today, the CMP supplies surplus rifles, parts, and ammunition to gun clubs and civilians. Junior CMP programs remain the centerpiece—young shooters who develop marksmanship skills are statistically more likely to serve in the Armed Forces.
