Full description and what we offer
Whitetail Dreams Outfitters is owned and operated by Matt and Kristine Babson in Coshocton and Knox Counties—the heart of Ohio's giant whitetail country. They spend all year preparing for deer season: running mineral sites, deploying trail cameras, and scouting the properties they hunt.
"As hunters ourselves, we know what it takes to provide the opportunity to harvest a giant mature whitetail in Ohio."
They offer three ways to hunt:
All hunts are 100% fair chase and not high fence. These are wild animals on working farmland—corn and soybean fields, river bottoms, and hardwood ridges with white oaks. There's a 135" minimum score, but no trophy fee if you harvest a deer.
Hunters stay at their on-site lodge with everything you need for the week. Kristine handles the cooking—reviews consistently mention outstanding home-cooked meals every day. The setup is clean, roomy, and comfortable.
Matt handles the scouting and stand placement. You get the hunt you want, and he'll try to accommodate special requests. But understand: these are wild whitetails. They're unpredictable. The outfitter offers no guarantees on harvesting a deer—only the best shot opportunity they can provide.
"The true hunt is about the chase, the camaraderie, stories around the campfire and building relationships."
