Auburn Sportsman's Club

Founded in 1932, Auburn Sportsman's Club is a well-established private shooting facility located on 128 acres of beautifully wooded land in Auburn, Massachusetts. This comprehensive sportsman's destination offers members access to dedicated rifle, pistol, and shotgun ranges, along with numerous other recreational shooting disciplines.

The club maintains several specialized shooting areas:

• •Rifle & Pistol Range – A private, covered rifle range with a dedicated housed pistol and .22 caliber range, providing protected shooting environments year-round
• •Trap Shooting – Regular trap shooting events held every Sunday (weather permitting) at 11am, with additional weeknight sessions during spring and summer
• •Black Powder Range – Dedicated facilities for black powder enthusiasts, including an annual Black Powder Woods walk challenge

Auburn Sportsman's Club is a members-only facility averaging approximately 1,200 active members, including a significant junior membership program (roughly 25% of total membership). The club welcomes new members through a formal membership application process. Members receive membership cards, numbers, and club pins.

Beyond shooting ranges, the 128-acre property features a stocked trout pond exclusive to members, hosting seasonal fishing derbies. The club also maintains an archery range with a 15-target field course and a clubhouse/meeting area available for member events and gatherings.

Auburn Sportsman's Club is deeply committed to the local sportsman community, sponsoring numerous events throughout the year including family-friendly activities, youth hunter education programs, and seasonal competitions. The club actively participates in conservation efforts, including pheasant stocking for the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife.
