Location details and information
Georgetown Fish and Game operates four distinct shooting facilities in Georgetown, MA:
Pistol Range — 25 and 50-foot distances with barricade positions for PPC (Practical Pistol Competition). All shooting positions are covered for year-round use in bad weather.
Mid-Range — Variable positions designed for pistol and blackpowder firearms with covered positions to shoot in foul weather.
Rifle Range — 25, 50, 75, and 100-yard distances for rifle shooting. Includes benches and soft platforms for prone and other shooting positions. All positions are weather-protected.
Trap Field — Regulation 5-position trap field with machine that throws standard or double. Includes a heated trap house for winter shooting.
The club supports serious shooters across multiple disciplines:
New member applications are accepted monthly. Members get access to all ranges during operating hours:

Members and immediate family can use all facilities. New applications available at the clubhouse or online—attend a monthly meeting (2nd Monday at 7:30 PM) to join.
Beyond the ranges, the clubhouse includes: - Meeting room for club gatherings - Kitchen facilities - Restroom facilities
This isn't a passive range. The club organizes regular events including cook-outs, work parties to maintain facilities, organized shoots, youth hunts, and seasonal competitions. Members contribute to maintenance through scheduled work parties.
