Rod & Gun Club of New Bedford

Rod & Gun Club of New Bedford operates as a full-service sportsmen's club rather than a commercial range. Located on 1407 North Hixville Road in North Dartmouth, the club provides dedicated facilities for rifle, pistol, archery, and air gun shooting—all accessible to members with an electronic key card system.

• •100 and 50 yard rifle ranges for centerfire and precision shooting
• •Archery range with established rules and field target setup
• •Air pistol league at the indoor range (10-meter distance, .17 caliber)
• •Silhouette competition with separate rifle and pistol divisions (optics and iron sights)
• •Action pistol, black powder, and high power rifle programs
• •Precision rimfire shooting

The air pistol league runs 17 weeks starting in early November, with Friday evening (6-9pm) and Sunday morning (8-11:30am) sessions. League shooters pay $3 per target; casual shooters pay $1.
