Bend of the River Conservation Club is a premier 70-acre shooting facility located in southern Berrien County near Niles, Michigan. Incorporated in 1946, this well-maintained conservation club offers comprehensive shooting opportunities for rifle, pistol, and shotgun sports across multiple specialized ranges.
The club features 12 sheltered rifle and pistol bays (25-100 yards), a dedicated 300-yard rifle range for extended-distance precision shooting, and a shotgun trap range equipped with a clay pigeon thrower. An indoor winter range accommodates year-round training and competition. All outdoor ranges include covered firing positions, target stands, benches, and shooting tables.
Members enjoy diverse shooting disciplines including: - Rifle shooting (25-300 yards) - Pistol and handgun shooting - Shotgun trap shooting - USPSA competitions - IDPA competitions - Steel Challenge matches - Precision rifle competitions - Specialty events (.22 bench rest, military service rifle, multi-gun)
While most activities are member-exclusive, the club welcomes non-members for beginner training. Free junior rifle instruction is available, teaching young shooters firearm safety with club-provided equipment and ammunition.
