Direct Dealer Partnerships: - SIG Sauer direct dealer pricing - West Michigan's top Aero Precision dealer - Silencer Shop Gold dealer status (Silencer Shop transfers exempt from fees)
They maintain inventory of new firearms, used guns, and NFA products. Customers can browse during business hours or schedule appointments for one-on-one consultation.
Flashpoint handles incoming transfers from online purchases or person-to-person sales:

Transfer Process Rules: - Call ahead: (616) 560-2566 before shipping items - Items must be on hand to process - NFA products must be purchased through their store, Silencer Shop, or an SOT dealer - Two-week pickup window; after that, $25/day storage fee applies - If no contact within 30 days, transfer is surrendered - Customer pays return shipping for unwanted items (transfer fees still apply) - Exceptions made if you contact them promptly about conflicts
They emphasize calling BEFORE you ship anything. This prevents headaches and clarifies what you can and can't transfer through Michigan.

Multiple reviews call out the same thing: they explain things instead of assuming you know. One reviewer mentioned walking in at 21, interested in buying their first gun. Staff member Spencer walked them and their parents through the decision process based on preferences and budget—no pressure, just information.
Another reviewer (female customer) specifically mentioned feeling treated equally to experienced male shooters: "No dumb questions. Lots of patience. And a willingness to let me hold and examine any gun I asked to without hesitation."
"Good group of people there. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Had my shotgun I purchased online shipped there. They went above and beyond." — Tim Gavin
As of February 13, 2024: If you don't have a CPL (Concealed Pistol License), you must get a License to Purchase before buying a handgun. The staff can explain the process, but this is a legal requirement they can't work around.
They run the West Michigan 2A Community on Facebook—a group for locals to share builds, stories, reviews, and get updates on new arrivals and exclusive deals.
