South Haven Rod & Gun Club has been operating continuously for over 100 years. It's a member-owned, volunteer-operated non-profit that runs as a genuine community space for shooters of all levels.
The club operates indoor and outdoor ranges with activities year-round:
Competition & Practice - 50 ft .22 Rimfire Benchrest League (Wednesdays, 1-3 PM) - Action Pistol events (2nd & 3rd Tuesdays at 7 PM) - Ladies Action Pistol (separate sessions) - 250-yard Long Gong .22 rifle competition - Trap shooting (seasonal)
Education & Certification - CPL Classes (8-hour certification, pre-test required) - Hunter Safety courses with field days - Introduction to Firearms Class (1st Thursday monthly, 6:30-9 PM) - Free classroom session plus $15 range time
Youth Programs - Youth Rifle & Archery (January-March) - Sight-in services (October-November) - All youth activities open to public
All shooting and youth activities are open to the public—you don't need to be a member to participate.
Membership includes: - $50 one-time initiation fee - Monthly meetings (2nd Monday, 7 PM) - FFL discounts on ammunition orders through the club - Low transfer fees on firearm purchases
The club holds a Federal Firearms License (FFL), giving members preferred pricing on ammunition orders and reduced transfer fees.
New Member Process 1. Submit online application with NRA number and dues 2. Application reviewed at next monthly meeting 3. Attend orientation (held prior to monthly meetings at 6 PM) 4. Approved members receive door card

The club maintains an active calendar of events and publishes regular newsletters. They've also been recognized by state and federal legislators for their 100-year commitment to the community.
