Full description and what we offer
Tuscola County Conservation Club has been the hub of recreational and competitive shooting in central Michigan since 1933. What started nearly a century ago is now a full-service shooting facility with multiple range types, organized leagues, certified instruction, and a focus on family involvement and proper firearm safety.
TCCC maintains some of the best clay and rifle shooting infrastructure in Michigan:
All ranges are lighted and covered, designed for year-round use in Michigan weather.
Trap is a sport of timing and accuracy—shooters call "pull" and engage 4¼-inch clay discs launched at 42 mph. People of all ages compete together. Nine-year-olds and 90-year-olds shoot the same event. The hit counts if you break any piece of the target.
Developed in 1915 to give hunters more shooting angles than trap. Targets are thrown from two points on the field, crossing in front of the shooter and at various angles. It's closer to actual hunting situations.
Called "the closest thing to actual field shooting" in shotgun sports. Six different clay target sizes simulate hunting conditions for ducks, pheasants, and rabbits. The 6-stand course at TCCC has 25 different machines with varied presentations.
Shotgun Sports Pricing (Member/Non-Member) - One round of trap or skeet: $4–$5 - One round of 6-stand: $8–$10 - Punch cards (10 rounds + 1 free): $50–$60 - Youth rate: $3 per round
