Muskegon Pistol & Rifle Club

Muskegon Pistol & Rifle Club has been a fixture in West Michigan for nearly 90 years. With approximately 100 members, they operate two facilities: a 50-foot indoor range with 12 lanes and an outdoor range located at 5700 Crystal Lake Road in Holton that extends to 300 yards.

The indoor facility hosts Tuesday night open shoots from 7:00-9:00 PM year-round, open to both members and guests. Non-members pay $10 per visit; eye and ear protection is provided if needed.

Members in good standing for 3+ months can apply for a key, allowing access between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Annual key fees can be reduced or waived through volunteer credits.

Located in Holton, the outdoor range features 25 to 300 yard shooting with excellent backstops and target pits. It operates only during supervised times with an onsite RSO. The events calendar lists dates, times, and RSO contact information—check before heading out, as opening depends on weather conditions.
