Grand Rapids Archery Club is a member-driven archery facility committed to fostering the sport of archery for recreational and competitive shooters of all ages and experience levels. Located at 723 Peterson Road in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, the club provides a welcoming environment where archers can develop their skills, participate in organized competitions, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
Year-Round Programs: - 24/7 indoor archery range access for members - Outdoor shooting range - Beginner instruction and foundational skill development - NAA/USAA certified coaching (Level I-IV instructors available)
Seasonal Competitions: - Competitive Archery Leagues (January-April) - 8-week leagues with divisions for traditional archery, compound bows, and youth archery - 3D Summer Shoot Series (May-August) - Multi-event series featuring 28-target Rinehart animal courses, challenge shoots, and junior competitions - Challenge Shoot Competitions - Long-range, steel target, blind, and specialized shot formats - Club Events and Tournaments - Regular competitive opportunities throughout the year
Youth Programs: - Monday evening beginner-friendly youth archery classes - Junior challenge shoot divisions with prizes - Community youth archery coaching
The club operates on a membership basis. Members receive: - Gate key and clubhouse access code - 24/7 range access (except during scheduled youth activities, club events, and select regional competitions) - Participation in all leagues, shoots, and club events - Bimonthly club meetings and volunteer opportunities
Memberships are available as individual, family, or student options. Members joining after March 1 receive pro-rated renewal dues. Membership applications can be completed online or by mail.
The club maintains an active community with bimonthly meetings, organized fundraisers, and scheduled range maintenance. Members are encouraged to participate in club upkeep and volunteer activities. The facility also hosts an annual Open House event in April featuring 3D shoots, games, giveaways, food, and family-friendly activities.
