Pine Island White Pines Sportsman's Club is a multipurpose shooting facility serving southeastern Minnesota with archery, trap shooting, and pistol sports. The range operates multiple specialized bays and ranges to accommodate different shooting disciplines simultaneously.
The club hosts the RAC Winter Archery League running Saturdays from 1-5 PM between January and March. The Pine Island Archery Club offers community education classes for grades 6-12, meeting Wednesday evenings from 5-8 PM (February through March). Regular Thursday night archery leagues provide ongoing competition opportunities.
Open trap shooting and trap league runs Thursday evenings at 5:30 PM from April through November. The club coordinates trap programs for: - Pine Island High School (Mondays 4:30-9:30 PM, starting late March) - Byron High School (Tuesdays 4:00-10:00 PM, starting late March) - Both programs include season banquets

New Member Orientation classes meet monthly (Tuesdays, 7-9 PM) in the classroom. Monthly club meetings occur on specified Tuesdays from 7-9 PM. The club maintains dedicated space including basement facilities, classrooms, and multiple shooting bays (numbered 1-10) plus trap range.
Goodhue County Sheriff Department utilizes bays 8-10 for training four times annually (May, June, September, November). The club hosts DNR gun safety field days - attendees must complete the DNR online safety course and bring their completion voucher. Field days are limited to 20 participants with priority given to White Pines members until mid-January, then open to the general public.
The club operates a Spring Swap Meet (8 AM-4 PM, March) with setup the evening prior. This is a major event drawing traders and buyers.

The facility actively supports youth shooting sports through high school trap programs and community education archery classes for grades 6-12.
