Arrowhead Archery Range

Arrowhead Archery Range operates two distinct facilities at Traceway Park in Clinton—a result of collaboration between the city, Mississippi College, Clinton Public Schools, and the CCA. The setup gives archers options depending on what they're training for.

• •The Covered Traditional Range features a 125 x 15-foot shooting shed with standard targets positioned from 20 to 100 yards. This is where you dial in fundamentals, regardless of skill level.

• •The 3D Range takes you into the woods. Animal targets—skunks, hogs, deer, bears—are scattered along a course through dense pine forest. Each station presents a different scenario: a downhill shot at a deer, then a thicket shot at a hog. No two stations are the same, which is exactly the point. You get realistic bowhunting practice without leaving Clinton, and the varied angles and distances keep it interesting whether you're a hunter or just an archer looking for a challenge.

3D archery is meant to be played with a group of archers—no two shots are the same.

All users need an Arrowhead Archery membership to shoot. Bring your own bow, arrows, string, quiver, and scope—the range provides targets.

Safety rules are strict and enforced: - No broadheads or crossbows - Maximum 12 archers on the range at one time - Anyone under 16 must be supervised by an adult - Dry firing (drawing without an arrow) is prohibited - No smoking on the range
