Full description and what we offer
Donnie Edington built Edington Enhanced Carry Firearm Training on a simple principle: learning and training never stops. He's not just teaching trigger control—he's building a complete understanding of personal and family protection.
The core offering is Mississippi Enhanced Concealed Carry Certification, which qualifies you for the state's Enhanced endorsement. But Edington goes deeper with specialized courses:
- •Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals — covers conflict avoidance, situational awareness, home security, handgun/shotgun/AR-15 basics, shooting fundamentals, the physiology of violent encounters, legal aspects of deadly force, and gear selection
- •Countering the Mass Shooter Threat — data-driven analysis of 48 mass shootings since Columbine with actionable response plans
- •Church Safety: Protecting your Congregation — congregation-focused active shooter response and security planning
- •Women's Only Concealed Carry — dedicated instruction for female students
- •Realtor Safety Training — specialized for real estate professionals
- •Emergency First Aid Fundamentals — CPR, AED, and trauma response
- •Developing a Personal and Home Protection Plan — comprehensive personal security strategy
"I am constantly learning more about the why and how when it comes to personal and family protection."
Edington holds multiple certifications:

Edington intentionally creates a relaxed, judgment-free environment. No singling anyone out. His goal is connecting with students individually so they feel comfortable asking questions and genuinely learning—not just checking a box for certification.
