Archery Range at Binder Park - JC Parks

The Archery Range at Binder Park is a public archery facility located in Jefferson City, Missouri, operated by JC Parks. This newly completed range opened in December 2024 and was built with support from the Missouri Department of Conservation's Outdoor Infrastructure Grant.

The range features four dedicated shooting lanes with targets and protective backdrops, designed to accommodate archers of all skill levels. Each lane is equipped with bow and quiver holders for convenient equipment storage, and clearly marked lines delineate shooting distances for consistent practice.

The facility welcomes traditional bows, compound bows, and crossbows. Archers can practice target shooting with field points and bullet points. The range operates on an open-access model from sunrise to sunset, making it accessible for daily practice and skill development.

The range is a public facility with no membership requirement, though users must adhere to all posted regulations. Two shooters maximum are allowed per lane simultaneously, and time limits of 45 minutes apply when others are waiting.

Archers must coordinate their shooting activities, always check surroundings before nocking arrows, and retrieve arrows only after all shooters have finished. Adults must supervise participants 15 years old and under. Broadheads are prohibited—only field points and bullet points are allowed. Crossbows are permitted with bolts.
