United Sportsmen's Club operates six distinct shooting facilities in Jefferson City, giving shooters options whether they're into shotgun sports, precision rifle, handgun, or black powder.
- •Trap & Skeet Ranges – Traditional clay target shooting with certified range safety officers and published work schedules
- •Sporting Clays – Ten stations with three shooting stands per station and variable target presentations
- •5 Stand Range – Wireless clay machines with covered stands; fast 25-target rounds
- •Rifle Ranges – Dedicated rifle facilities with safety officer scheduling
- •Pistol Ranges – Dedicated pistol shooting area
- •Black Powder Range – For traditional firearms enthusiasts
- •Archery Range – Indoor facility that doubles as event space

The 5 Stand range runs seasonally: October-March every Sunday 10am-2pm; April-September on Wednesdays at 5pm and first/last Sundays 10am-2pm.
The club hosts events for members and non-members throughout the year:
- •Turkey Shoot – Annual November competition with 51-target format (American Skeet, Wobble Skeet, standing turkey shoot). Entry $15 includes targets and refreshments.
- •Honor Our Military Veterans – Free shooting for veterans on dedicated dates; instructors available for newcomers
- •Junior Trap Championship – Youth competitive shooting
- •Rifle Sight-In Days – Pre-season rifle preparation
- •Sporting Clays Social Events – Community shoots with food
- •USC Swap Meet – Buy-sell-trade hunting, fishing, and shooting gear
This is a working club with committees managing ranges (Sporting Clays Chairman: Jeff Cockerham, 573-291-4145), published work schedules, and certified range safety officers on duty. Members receive discounted shooting fees and access to member-only information and governance.
