Les Bauska Target Range

Les Bauska Target Range is owned and operated by the Northwest Montana Arms Collectors Association (NWMACA), a 501(c)(7) nonprofit incorporated in 1984. The range was built by founder Les Bauska using volunteer labor and community donations—his legacy continues to define the facility today.

24/7 member access to three separate ranges: - Indoor pistol range - 100-yard indoor rifle range with electronic target system - 30-yard indoor archery range (added 2023)

Members receive key code access and can shoot anytime. The facility is not open to the public—membership is required.

• •Restrictions: No .50 caliber or larger, no armor-piercing ammunition, no shotguns, no full auto/binary/forced reset triggers.

• •Electronic Systems: The 100-yard rifle range features an American Electric target system with distance selector and automated controls. Simple operation: read the three posted instructions, press the green start button, adjust yardage overhead.

NWMACA extends beyond the range:

• •Hosts the Original Kalispell Gun Show semi-annually at the Flathead County Fairgrounds (50+ years running)
• •Sponsors Flathead County 4-H Shooting Sports .22 caliber program at the range
• •Hosts Babes & Bullets women's firearm training events
• •Partners with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks for hunter education classes

Memberships run January 1–December 31 with prorated dues. Renewal deadline is January 15 or your access code deactivates.
