Broken Arrow Outfitters operates hunts in southwestern Nebraska, Kansas, and Texas, with their flagship Nebraska operation spanning 60,000 acres of Sandhills and sixteen miles of Platte River valley. Intensive management practices produce excellent age structure and genetics—reflected in consistently high success rates.
Nebraska specialties: - Mule deer and whitetail (archery, rifle, muzzleloader) - Wild turkey (Rio Grande and Merriam populations) - Upland game and waterfowl
| Hunt Type | Duration | Season | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rifle | 4 days | Fall rut | High game numbers |
| Archery | 5 days | Fall rut | River bottom properties |
| Muzzleloader | 5 days | Mid-December | Cold weather = peak activity |
| Turkey | 3 days | Spring | Unique habitat variety |
Archery hunts stand out for exceptional game numbers and diverse terrain. Muzzleloader December hunts often produce the highest deer sightings thanks to predictable cold-weather feeding patterns.
