Bluffs Shooters

Bluffs Shooters, Inc. is a family-friendly, progressive shooting club established in 1984 by dedicated shooters seeking a safe place to practice, teach, and compete. Located at 171 S 20 Rd, Mitchell, NE, this 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serves the Scottsbluff area with modern facilities and a strong commitment to firearm safety and responsible shooting sports.

Range Facilities: - Public range access for qualified shooters - Competitive shooting range with multiple match events throughout the year - Long-range capabilities: 600-yard and 1,000-yard ranges accessible via CR 19 - Community event space and meeting venue - Gun show facilities hosting 200+ vendors twice yearly

Shooting Activities: - Rifle shooting (including long-range F-Class competitions) - Pistol shooting and steel challenge matches - Shotgun shooting - 3-Gun matches (3rd Saturday monthly, weather permitting) - Steel Challenge matches (2nd Sunday monthly) - Specialized events: Nebraska State Submachinegun Match, F-Class/E-Class long-range matches

Bluffs Shooters welcomes new members and maintains annual family memberships open to the public. Membership renewals are due in January. To join, applicants must: - Maintain active NRA membership - Provide approved background check documentation (firearm/handgun purchase certificate, concealed carry permit, or law enforcement/FFL credential) - Complete membership application and waiver

Non-members may access the public range, though certain competitive matches require membership.

Monthly membership meetings convene at 7 PM on the 3rd Monday (no meetings in August or December). The club regularly hosts workdays for range maintenance and improvements, welcoming volunteer participation to enhance facilities.

Our mission is to provide a safe, modern environment for members and the public to enjoy all aspects of shooting sports while teaching responsible firearm ownership to youth and adults. Safety is our number one priority, with strict range rules enforced at all times.
