The Nevada Trap Shooting Association (NSTA) is the state's primary organization for competitive trap shooting. Operating as an Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) affiliate, NSTA sanctions competitions, manages rankings, and organizes events for shooters across Nevada.
Regular Events: - Wednesday Night League - Seasonal league play with team and individual divisions - Big 50 tournaments - Monthly singles events held throughout the year - First Sunday Social events - Casual, welcoming competitions for all skill levels - Spring & Fall Handicap Tournaments - Major seasonal events (2-day format) - Doubles Marathons - Spring and Fall special events - Western Zone Championships - Multi-state regional competition
The Nevada State Shoot The crown jewel: the annual Nevada State Shoot (now in its 77th year as of 2025). The 77th edition set a competition factor of 5 with over 1,300 total participants across three championship events—Singles, Doubles, and Handicap.
