MacPherson Firearms moved to Auburn, NH in October 2025 and operates by appointment. They're a full-service gunsmith shop focused on precision work: AK rifle builds from parts kits, AR-15 component installation, complete gunsmithing, and Cerakote finishing in any available color.

• •AK Services - Their specialty. They handle headspace fitting, virgin barrel population, de-mill prep, receiver population, and complete builds (fixed stock, folding stock, and extended length). Pricing runs $100–$550 depending on complexity. They'll knurl undersized barrels and apply black oxide finishing.

• •AR-15 Services - Trigger installations, muzzle device swaps, barrel installation and torque, handguard work (install, swap, or A2-to-free-float conversion), gas block/tube service, charging handle swaps, upper and lower assembly, complete buildouts, and tuning (gas port/buffer adjustment).

• •General Gunsmithing - Sight installations ($30–$45 with test fire), trigger work, stock and grip fitting/install, feed ramp polishing, muzzle device timing, and barrel turning. Machine work starts at $60/hr with a $30 minimum.

• •Cleaning Services - Three tiers: minimal ($30, 5–7 days), standard ($60, 7–14 days), and deep cleaning ($90, 10–14 days).

All colors in the current Cerakote lineup are available with a 3-week lead time. Disassembly/reassembly is $60 extra if needed. Minimum order is $100.

• •Transfers - Standard transfers $35 cash; NFA items $100.

• •Consignments - They handle high-end firearms, collections, and estates. Use multiple online channels and dealer networks. Cost is 20% of final sale price minus listing fees. They handle secure transport, evaluation, and grading for estate sales with bi-monthly payments.

• •Laser Engraving - LFOD (Live Free or Die) engraving, decorative engraving, laser-engraved charging handles, and dust covers.

Appointment-only. Call (603) 706-5795. They quote repair work after consultation since costs vary. Test & Evaluate (comprehensive function check, test fire, and evaluation) is $30 for peace of mind before heading to the range.
