Location details and information
The Plaistow Fish & Game Club was founded in 1935 with a simple mission: stock local trout and give sportsmen a place to meet. Nearly 90 years later, it's evolved into a full-service shooting and sporting facility that runs multiple competitive leagues, training programs, and community events.
The club operates both indoor and outdoor ranges:
The range closes during private events - meaning you can rent space without hearing gunfire during your party. You can waive this if you want.
| Membership Type | Annual Cost | Requirements |
|---|---|---|
| Regular Member | $150 | Age 16+, sponsored by member, good moral character |
| Junior Member | $150 | Ages 16-20, auto-converts to Regular at 21 |
| Life Member | $0 annually | 65+, 5 consecutive years as member, held leadership role |
| Paid Life Member | One-time fee | Per club bylaws |
The club also offers a volunteer hours option - put in 20 hours of work around the facility and reduce your renewal by over 30%.
The club is wheelchair accessible with ramps and accessible restrooms. They maintain two AED defibrillators on-site (one in the large hall, one in the club room behind the bar).
Hall rentals include round tables (60" diameter, seat 8-10) and rectangular tables (30"x96", seat 10-12). You bring your own linens and centerpieces. Events are catered through the on-site bar when a bartender is present.
"We only rent one hall per day" - meaning your event has the facility's full attention
