Reloaderz NJ

Reloaderz NJ operates a climate-controlled indoor shooting facility at 1813 State Route 23 in Wayne with 15 lanes running 25 yards. The range features fully wireless target retrievers with multiple training functions and full LED lighting. Walk-ins are welcome—no reservation or membership required. Just bring a valid photo ID (driver's license or passport) and you can shoot the same day.

• •No permit required for NJ or out-of-state shooters
• •Age minimums: 8 years old (supervised), 18+ to rent rifles, 21+ to rent handguns
• •Group requirement: Anyone without a valid NJ Firearms Identification Card must shoot in groups of two or more (except active law enforcement)
• •Solo shooting: Only with a valid FID card or active law enforcement credentials

• •Important: All rental firearms must use ammunition purchased from Reloaderz NJ. You cannot bring your own ammo for rentals. The Pro-Shop stocks various brands and calibers on-site.

• •Handguns: .22 through .50 AE (no maximum)

• •Rifles: .223 through 30-06 (up to 30-caliber, some exceptions apply)

• •Shotguns: Slugs and 00 Buckshot only

• •Prohibited ammunition: Tracer, incendiary, armor-piercing, steel core/case, bird shot, and black powder firearms. Reloaderz NJ requests you avoid reloads.

• •Walk-in 60-minute lane rental: Lane fees listed on their website

• •Additional shooters: Up to three people maximum per lane

• •Eye and ear protection: Available for rental

Reloaderz NJ runs a comprehensive training operation with courses ranging from beginner to advanced tactical. All instructors are NRA certified.

• •[NSSF] First Shots: 2 hours classroom + 1 hour range. Uses low-recoil .22LR ammunition. Designed for first-time shooters.
• •[NRA] First Steps (Handgun/Rifle/Shotgun): Discipline-specific orientation covering safety, firearm parts/function, ammunition basics, and fundamental shooting skills.
• •Firearm Fundamentals (Semi-Private or Private): Two-part course covering safety, marksmanship, firearm parts, and range rules. Up to 4 students in semi-private; 1-on-1 in private. Certificate issued.
• •Jr. Gun Safety: Ages 8-12 using .22LR rifles. 1 hour classroom + 1 hour range time.
• •Ladies First on Firearms: Introductory handgun course designed specifically for women.

• •Quick Class: 1-hour refresher or skill-building session on topics of your choice.
• •Holster Draw: Intermediate/advanced class covering drawing from the holster. Must pass live-fire qualification to draw at their range.
• •Optics Zeroing: Learn Minute-of-Angle (MOA), zero distance selection, hold-overs and hold-unders.
• •Firearm Cleaning: 1.5-hour class taught by certified armorers covering nomenclature, field stripping, and maintenance.
• •Storage & Transportation: 1.5-hour lecture on legal NJ firearm storage, vehicle transport, and possession regulations.
• •Downrange Introduction (Handgun/Carbine/Shotgun): Dynamic movement drills pairing shooting with drawing, reloading, and movement under time constraints.
• •Downrange Skill Developer (Handgun/Carbine/Shotgun): Advanced positioning and proficiency challenges following Downrange Introduction.

• •New Jersey CCW Training: 3-hour course covering current NJAG/NJSP Use of Force guidelines and CCARE live-fire qualification. Instructors sign SP182 paperwork.
• •New York CCW Training: 18-hour course covering NYAG/NYSP Use of Force, holster draw, and live-fire qualification per NY DCJS requirements.
• •Retired Law Enforcement Qualification (HR218/1-RPO): Biannual qualification and paperwork for retired NJ law enforcement.

• •GSSF Indoor League: 3-match series for GLOCK Sport Shooting Foundation members. Compete in 2 of 3 matches to qualify for plaques and prizes.
• •ReloaderzNJ League: Dynamic movement-based competition with random courses of fire and various shooting positions. Open to shooters who've completed Downrange classes or have competitive league experience (USPSA, IDPA, IPSC).

The Pro-Shop operates as a licensed firearms dealer carrying top brands including Glock, Staccato, Sig Sauer, and more. Services include:

• •Return Policy: Ammunition, firearms, clothing, and most items are final sale. Unopened, unused merchandise in original packaging with receipt may be returned within 30 days (except gift cards).
