Full description and what we offer
Ten Ring Archery operates both a 3D archery course and an indoor spot target range at their Levittown location on Hempstead Turnpike. The 3D experience costs $30 per session and requires no membership—you show up, shoot, and leave.
Unlike stationary target ranges, 3D archery places life-size foam animal targets throughout a natural setting at varying distances and angles. You're gauging yardage and adjusting aim the way you would hunting—shooting at deer, elk, bears, and turkeys positioned to replicate real hunting scenarios. Terrain varies with hills, trees, and other features mixed in. It's more dynamic than paper targets, more realistic than a flat range.
They organize three types of competitive leagues: - 3D League - hunting simulation course competition - Traditional League - traditional archery focus - Spot Target League - indoor target archery
Leagues run for weeks or months with divisions by skill level and age. Everyone shoots against similarly-skilled competitors, so you're not a beginner getting crushed by pros.
Tournaments happen on both the 3D range and target range. Staff is present to manage safety, provide guidance, and answer technique questions. Beginner divisions exist—newcomers get tips from experienced archers.
They run seasonal leagues (Summer signup is currently open). Sign up online or call 516-465-1220.

Ten Ring Archery stocks: - Bows (compound, traditional, recurve - specifics not listed but they carry quality brands) - Arrows and arrow components - Targets and target stands - Archery accessories - Protective gear
Their approach to retail: Quality products that are tested for durability, competitive pricing, and staff who actually know archery. They'll help you pick equipment based on your skill level and goals. Hassle-free returns and exchanges.
They take safety seriously. Standard range rules apply: - Always point arrows downrange - Never point a bow at another person - Only shoot your own target—no crossing lanes - Stay behind the firing line when others are shooting - No dry firing (shooting with no arrow) - No open-toe shoes
Staff announces "Commence firing," "Cease fire," and "All clear" commands that everyone follows.
