Founded in 1949, Camillus Sportsmen's Club operates as a private, non-profit membership organization dedicated to shooting sports and conservation in Central New York. The club sits on 100 acres approximately 6 miles west of Syracuse, bordered by the historic Erie Canal.
Family memberships cover members through age 18 (children), with senior rates at half price. The membership period runs calendar year and gives you access to the clubhouse and grounds. Membership applications are accepted once monthly on the second Saturday from 9am to noon, plus at semi-annual meetings (second Wednesday of May and November).

Hours: Outside shooting 9:00 AM to legal sunset (strictly enforced). Indoor pistol range available 24 hours daily.
The club hosts year-round organized leagues in rifle, handgun, and shotgun. Trap teams compete in both summer and winter leagues against other Central New York clubs. The club sanctions nationally registered competitions including:
In July 2023, member Joel Nader won the HV 200, SP 200, 2-gun and 3-gun at the IBS Group Nationals hosted at Camillus—his first Hall of Fame points.
The clubhouse (50 feet) connects to the indoor pistol range and includes restrooms accessible to members with disabilities. An adjacent building serves as a classroom for courses and CMP clinics, plus a reloading area for benchrest shooters. Lighted parking and a picnic pavilion support club activities.
The club operates NASP (school archery program) with beginner bows, arrows, targets, and a capture net. Hunter education courses and junior programs are also available.
Camillus Sportsmen's Club won the Onondaga County Federation of Sportsmen's Club Award for dedication to shooting sports, firearms safety, and conservation.
