Straight Arrow Archery started in 1981 when Fred DelMedico bought an arrow fletching jig and began refletching arrows in his basement. The operation evolved from the basement to the garage, then to a renovated barn on Oneida Street—where it still operates today. Tim DelMedico bought into the family business and now runs what he calls the most cutting-edge archery and bowhunting pro shop in the Utica/Rome area.
"This is not a 'bow in a box' outfit." Their sales team matches bows to shooters based on personality, price, build, performance, age, skills, and temperament—then lets you test your selection on their indoor lanes before you leave.
