Brunswick Sportsman's Club is a prestigious member-owned shooting facility established in 1938, situated on 80 acres in Cropseyville, New York. This well-maintained club offers comprehensive shooting opportunities for rifle, pistol, shotgun, and archery enthusiasts.
The club features multiple specialized ranges:
- •Rifle Range: 100, 200, and 300-yard targets with 5 shooting benches and 10 stations for CMP and High Power rifle competitions
- •Pistol Ranges: 50-yard small bore range with 2 benches, 25-yard 180-degree range, and 7/15/25-yard sidewalk positions
- •Shotgun: Full trap field for clay target shooting
- •Archery: 14-station wooded 3D course and standing targets to 50 yards
Brunswick Sportsman's Club maintains a membership limit of 500 members. The club is members-only for general use, though limited public access is available through designated open events. New members require sponsorship from a current member and must complete an application process including posting and voting at club meetings.
Prospective members without existing connections can attend Business meetings (held the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 PM) or events marked "Open to the Public" on the event calendar to meet current members.
The property includes the original clubhouse (restored farmhouse), multiple shooting benches and target stands, scout camping lean-tos built by Boy Scouts, and meeting space for club activities and events.
All shooters must comply with club bylaws, range rules, and the 10 Commandments of Firearms Safety. Eye and ear protection are mandatory. The club is governed by a Board of Directors and maintains strong community standards focused on respect for American ideals and safe shooting practices.
