Hendrick Hudson Fish and Game Club is a private, not-for-profit rod and gun club founded in 1925, on 100 acres with a five-acre pond near Averill Park, New York, at the foot of the Berkshire Mountains.
The club maintains a 13-station sporting clays course; three American skeet fields and one international skeet field; one American trap field and one international (wobble) trap field; a 100-yard outdoor rifle range; an 8-station heated indoor pistol range and a 50-yard 8-station outdoor pistol range; and a heated indoor archery range with an outdoor 3D course.
Rifle matches include NRA Silhouette, single-action open-sight silhouette, and 3-position rifle competition. The club has hosted the Empire State Games, the NYS Police Olympics, U.S. Olympic Team tryouts, and NYS Junior Olympic Tryouts, and offers Rensselaer County pistol permit classes and NRA training and certification courses.
Non-member shooting is available, and the grounds, clubhouse, and lodge can be used for meetings and events.
