Ontario Rod & Gun Club sits on rural farmland in the Town of Ontario, just east of Rochester, on the southern edge of Lake Ontario. It's one of Western New York's oldest shooting clubs, with roots dating back to the 1950s and a strong tradition in Civilian Marksmanship Programs, trap, rifle, and fishing.

The club hosts the New York State High School Clay Target League, partners with RIT ROTC AF Cadets, and runs the Inland Waters Clay Target League.
New Member Orientation: 3rd Saturday of every month at 9 a.m., or by appointment
Membership is open to shooters of all skill levels and backgrounds. The club maintains a diverse community of men, women, and youth across all professions.
Best times to visit: - Tuesday nights 5-8 p.m. - Open Trap; officers often in clubhouse - Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. - Most officers present for questions and range tours
Hours: Monday-Saturday 9 a.m. to sunset (8 p.m. latest); Sunday 10 a.m. to sunset. Holiday hours (noon-4 p.m.) on New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
ONGC runs an active veterans' fundraiser program with 100% of proceeds supporting local veterans. The club also partners with training organizations and hosts instructional programs for firearm enthusiasts.
