Location details and information

Windsor Sportsmen's Association started in the 1940s when a local rifle club and pistol club merged. After a quiet period, the club reformed around 1968 on property purchased from Ernest Brink—the range still bears his name. In 1973 and 1976, two parcels were acquired that grew the club to 15.2 acres total.

They hit their peak during the black powder era (1974-1984) with around 100 members and weekly shoots. Today membership sits between 50-100 annually, which means something important: you actually get shooting time without waiting in line.

  • Pistol range – Dedicated pistol bay
  • Rifle range – Both 25-yard and 100-yard stations with rebuilt pavilions
  • Trap/clay bird range – Full clay shooting setup
  • Archery – Fixed target and portable options

The club invested in infrastructure improvements:
