Artemis Archery Asheville

Artemis Archery Asheville operates out of the Blue Ridge Bowhunters Club in Leicester, NC—about 25 minutes northwest of Asheville. Their range sits in a pine forest with target setups, shade trees, and a pavilion for weather protection.

Group & Private Lessons - Co-ed Sunday group shoots (Fall season, 1:00-2:30 PM) - ages 16+ - Women's Thursday lessons (1:00 PM, 90 minutes to 2 hours) - ages 18+ - Private individual and group sessions by appointment (any day/time) - Summer day camps and teen programs - Holiday gift certificates available

All lessons include a 60-minute to 2-hour session with stretch warm-up, professional instruction, supervised shooting, and all equipment. Beginners to intermediate archers welcome. Groups require minimum 3 people, maximum 10.

• •Allowed: Traditional recurve bows and longbows under 35# draw with target arrows. Bring your own equipment if you prefer—same price.

• •Forbidden: Compound bows, crossbows, and broadhead points.

• •Weather: Lessons run in cold weather (dress warm, bring hot drinks). Rain cancels class. Under 45°F not recommended for children. Confirmation call one hour before if weather looks questionable.

• •Facilities: Outdoor range with tree shade or pavilion seating. Outhouse on site (plan accordingly). No pets on range. Spectators welcome if participants are comfortable. Full liability insurance in place—waivers required at arrival.
