Garrison Readiness Group

Garrison Readiness Group focuses on pistol and rifle instruction with courses designed for shooters at any skill level. Their course lineup includes:

• •Pistol training: Novice and Level 1 courses ($125)
• •Rifle training: Basics and Carbine Novice courses ($125)
• •ND Concealed Weapons License: Class 1 & 2 certification ($100)
• •Private instruction: One-on-one sessions, group training, team building, and special events available

The instructors come from different backgrounds—law enforcement, hunting, medical, firearms industry, military. Demrick Houser (president) has SWAT training and NRA certification. Dameon Houser brings nearly a decade of hands-on shooting and firearms industry work. April Peyer is an RN/BSN and lifelong shooter who specializes in helping new pistol shooters build confidence. Tyler Wakeley is a certified armorer with deep firearms knowledge. Michael Houser is a Marine Corps veteran with 30+ years in firearms and competitive trap shooting.

Their approach treats firearms training as ongoing personal development, not a one-off checkbox. They run field days regularly alongside their scheduled courses and maintain active video content covering dry fire drills, reloading practice, and everyday carry topics.

Regular training runs throughout the year with courses scheduled in April, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December. All training takes place in Garrison, North Dakota.

They've built a merch store and maintain a blog, videos, and email newsletter. The business philosophy centers on people first—both protecting those around you and creating a positive gun culture community.
