G.K.L Archery operates an outdoor 3D archery course as part of the G.K.L Wildlife Association, a sportsman's club established in 1957 on over 300 acres of scenic grounds near Mingo Junction, Ohio. The course features 20+ animal 3D targets set up on a wooded walking trail that simulates actual hunting conditions.

•Practice area for warm-up shots
•Covered shelter, outdoor restrooms, ample parking
•All bows welcome (field tips only—no broadheads)

•Regular Weekend Shoots (April-September):
•April 13: Opening Day (9:30 AM-3:30 PM)
•May 17, June 7, July 13, August 10 (9 AM-2 PM)
•September 21: End of Year BBQ & Shoot (10 AM-4 PM)

•Wednesday Night Shoots (May-September):
•June 4 & 11, July 16, August, September (5 PM-8/9 PM)

Bring enough arrows to complete the course—they don't sell arrows or supplies on-site.

The course is designed to replicate a hunting environment. Archers walk over uneven terrain through wooded areas with 20+ life-sized animal targets. Weather doesn't stop shoots unless severe conditions occur—plan for rain or shine and wear closed-toe boots with tread.

Recent shoots have added competitive elements like "Long Shot" and "Flight or Fortune" to keep things interesting. First-time 3D shooters and experienced hunters both use the course year-round for practice and off-season conditioning.
