Summit Armory opened about 6 years ago in Akron and has expanded twice since. It's a small veteran-owned shop run by owner Tim Ostrander and his team—people who actually shoot and know their guns instead of just reading from a script. The vibe is straightforward: you'll get honest answers, good service, and probably some busting if you ask something dumb.

Firearms & Inventory - New and used firearms in stock at Akron location - Special orders available (items marked "available" on website need to be ordered) - Stock includes rifles, shotguns, handguns, and flamethrowers

Gunsmithing & Services - General services ($50 start) - Muzzle device installation ($75 start) - Cleaning services ($50 start) - Laser engraving ($75 start) - Work handled by experienced gunsmiths including Dave (Akron) and Dom (multi-location)

Suppressors & Less-Lethal - Silencer Shop dealers carrying Rugged Suppressors, SilencerCo, Dead Air Silencers, and SureFire - Byrna authorized dealers for less-lethal CO2 pistols (SD and CL models)

Transfers & NFA Items - Incoming transfers: $25 per item - Outgoing transfers: $50 per item - NFA transfers: $100 per item

Layaway Program - 20% down required - 30 days same as cash - 3% interest after 30 days - 60-day max term
