TJ Slomka built The Brigade after spending 15+ years developing Old School Iron Gym from a 5,000 sq ft startup into a 60,000 sq ft training facility. That same operational rigor now runs the shooting range. This isn't a range that just lets people show up and plink. It's built around focused skill development and community.

The range features state-of-the-art shooting lanes with Pro-Touch target systems—instant, smooth target travel controlled by one-touch touchscreen. Climate-controlled environment. Strategic lane layout accommodates different firearm types and shooting styles.

Certified instructors teach proper stance, grip, aim, firearm safety, and responsible gun handling. Classes range from absolute beginners to advanced:

To use the range: - Must be of legal age - Complete safety orientation - Sign liability waiver - Background checks may apply

Four Core Rules: 1. Always Point the Firearm Safely — Keep guns pointed where no injury can occur if they discharge. Account for ricochets and bullet penetration. 2. Treat Every Gun as Loaded — Only load when ready to fire. Always check chamber, receiver, and magazine are empty before handling or passing. 3. Keep Finger Off the Trigger Until Ready to Shoot — No trigger contact while loading, unloading, or with safety engaged. 4. Identify Your Target and What's Beyond — Know your target and backdrop before firing. Understand bullet range potential.
