Donald Eastburn got his first .22 at twelve, was hunting by sixteen, and served as an Infantry officer in Vietnam. He applied for his FFL license in 1982 and has been in the firearms business ever since—first as a gunsmith, then pivoting to what he does best now: transfers.
"My Mission Statement is to get as many legal firearms into as many legal hands as I legally can." — Donald G. Eastburn
Since 2006, Don's niche has been handling transfers for buyers who purchase online. No inflated pricing. No markup. Just a flat $40 fee that includes the Pennsylvania state background check fee.
Step 1: Find Your Firearm
You browse online dealers—Aim Surplus, Brownells, Buds Gun Shop, CDNN Sports, Cheaper Than Dirt, GrabAGun, Gun Buyer, Impact Guns, Palmetto State Armory, Sportsman's Guide, or any other vendor Don works with.
Step 2: Order & Ship to Don
When you order, designate Donald Eastburn FFL as your dealer. The firearm ships directly to him at 200 Margaret Lane, West Chester, PA 19380.
Step 3: Notify Don
Call (610) 960-8971 or email [email protected] to let him know what's coming and when to expect it.
Step 4: Schedule Your Appointment
Once Don receives the delivery, he contacts you to schedule a pickup appointment.
Step 5: Walk Out with Your Gun
Bring your Pennsylvania driver's license (or state ID if you don't have a license), $40 cash, and complete the paperwork same day. For 9 out of 10 transfers, you're done in under 15 minutes. Background checks are typically instant approval.
Out-of-state military? Bring your military orders showing Pennsylvania duty station. Non-U.S. citizens? Bring your federal ID (green card, etc.) and valid PA driver's license. The federal decision usually takes about 4 hours.

No markup pricing—that's the biggest differentiator. Some local gun shops tack on a transfer fee on top of the state requirements. Don doesn't. You're paying the state fee, period.
He works with basically any online dealer. If your vendor isn't on his short list, call him. Odds are he's done business with them before or will start.
The process is friction-free if you follow the steps. Don contacts you when the firearm arrives, you schedule at your convenience, and you walk out the same day with your legally purchased gun and the paperwork completed.
Don's been running this operation for over 40 years. He's an Army vet, Infantry officer, Vietnam service member. He knows firearms inside and out. His mission isn't to sell you something you don't need—it's to handle the transfer paperwork so you can buy what you want online without dealing with a local dealer markup.
During COVID-19, he implemented special pickup arrangements to promote social distancing and keeps his website updated regularly with current info.
