Patriot Valley Arms operates as the exclusive distributor for Osprey Barrel Works, a precision rifle barrel manufacturer based in Pennsylvania. They also handle custom gunsmithing work directly from their Pottstown location.
Osprey barrels are CNC-manufactured from 416RR stainless steel with a 6-groove proprietary cross-section profile. The design is engineered specifically for heavy, long-range precision rifle bullets—particularly monolithic copper projectiles (solids). The smaller individual groove cross-section performs equal to popular 4H and 5R profiles with standard jacketed bullets, but shows measurable advantages with monolithic rounds.
Each barrel is: - Micro-honed to micron-level bore cylindricity control - Double normalized (stress relieved) for consistency - Finish lapped and digitally gauged - Available in multiple contours and twist rates
PVA doesn't publish a full menu—they prefer to talk directly with customers about specific needs. Current services offered include:
