Philly Gun Instructor operates out of Delaware Valley Sports Center (101 Geiger Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19115) and teaches the nationwide NRA standard for firearms instruction. The focus: training shooters the right way and certifying new instructors to teach others.
If you've never shot before, start here. All basic courses include range time, eye and ear protection, targets, and a rental firearm if needed.
Become an NRA-certified instructor and teach what you know. Three-part courses (24 hours total over 3 days) held at Delaware Valley Sports Center.
NRA Pistol Instructor Certification

NRA Rifle Instructor Certification
Similar structure to pistol (24 hours, 3 days). Currently closed to new applicants.

1. Register using the course form 2. Pay via PayPal link (options for different experience levels) 3. Be an NRA member 4. Pay NRA credentialing fee ($30) after class completes
For groups of 5+, special dates and weekday sessions can be arranged.
Total cost for complete pistol instructor path (if starting from scratch): $565 including NRA membership, all three course parts, and credentialing fee.
