Custer State Park hosts an annual 3D archery course that draws archers from across South Dakota. Set your own pace around Center Lake with targets ranging from 5 to 100 yards—whether you're dialing in your competition form or picking up a bow for the first time.
- •50+ animal targets at varied distances
- •Loaner bows available at check-in
- •Beginner instruction provided on-site
- •Multi-day format: Saturday 8 AM through Sunday noon
- •Camp in the park overnight between sessions
This event was a proven success in its inaugural year and returns as a staple for South Dakota archers.
Register through the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks licensing system. Check-in includes instruction for newcomers and bow loaner coordination. You set your own schedule—work through targets at your pace, no competition pressure.
