The Exchange was founded by Pete and Sandra Torino in 1982, originally operating as a pawn shop before transitioning exclusively to firearms retail. Today it's still family owned by Steve, Brenda, and their daughter Jamie Werre, who maintain the original mission: quality products, wide selection, and affordable prices.

The shop experienced a fire in December 2024 and is currently operating by appointment only while undergoing a complete remodel. A grand reopening date will be announced soon. During this transition:

• •Pre-fire inventory on sale—each item has been inspected, disassembled, cleaned, and oiled
• •Limited quantities on sale items (most one-of-a-kind, prices valid while supplies last)
• •No trades or used firearm purchases accepted at this time
