"The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary." — Vincent Lombardi
Many Muddy Bayou students have won state, regional, and national championships in 4H, NASP, and S3DA competitions. Several have earned college scholarships for archery, which the coaches actively encourage.
Students who earn a spot on the competition team get additional focus on the fundamentals that matter: proper stance for consistency, good follow-through on every shot, and mental preparedness. The coaches emphasize that these skills—patience, resilience, preparation, attitude, and work ethic—benefit archers both in competition and in life.
Beginners should contact them to arrange a starting date and time. Established archers can reach out about joining Tuesday/Thursday sessions.
