Never Enough Guns

Never Enough Guns started in a one-car garage and now operates a dedicated shop on 20 acres west of Nashville. The name came to life during a 2003 Iraq deployment—something to focus on that helped get through a rough time. What began as a personal project evolved into a serious gunsmithing operation.

Bret served 21 years in the US Army working on M-16 and M-4 platforms. That experience translates directly to his builds. He's now completed over 600 custom AR builds and 500+ AK/FAL type rifles since 2000. His wife Christine handles paperwork and shipping.

He's shifted primary focus to the AR-15 platform due to parts availability and cost. Custom AR builds are priced on a case-by-case basis. His portfolio includes:

Custom AK builds: - Fixed stock kit with pre-barreled receiver: $285 (build only) - Re-barreling required: $485 (build only, customer provides parts and rivets)

Receiver Requirements: Will work with 100% receivers from customer or recommends Nodak Spud, 74U LLC, or Childers. Contact first before ordering—he won't use certain receivers.

Finishing: Uses only QPQ black nitride through H&M Metal Processing. Professional durability far exceeds spray finishes. Cost: $185–$230 depending on insured shipping. Return shipping typically $40–$60.
