Urban Defense Gun Club

Urban Defense Gun Club Inc. is a nonprofit organization of law-abiding gun owners focused on preserving the rights of African American gun ownership in Jackson, Tennessee. As a founding chapter of the UNITED 2A COLLECTIVE, they advocate for safe, responsible, and skilled firearm ownership while building positive perception of Black gun owners in their community.

The club welcomes members at all experience levels—from complete beginners to seasoned concealed carry licensees and former law enforcement and military personnel.

URban Defense offers scheduled firearms instruction throughout the month:

• •Firearms Presentation & Grip/Stance – Non-shooting 2-hour course covering handgun presentation and the draw process. Every second Saturday, 10 AM–12 PM
• •Handgun Foundations Interactive Dry-Fire Course – Hands-on dry-fire training available Thursday–Saturday by appointment
• •1-on-1 Interactive Training – Personalized instruction at their state-of-the-art indoor facility. Every third Saturday at noon

Urban Defense runs a significant youth initiative covering financial literacy, stop-the-bleed training, accident prevention, and life skills development. Monthly gatherings on the third Saturday include meals and recreational activities. Parent workshops focus on safe storage, responsible handling, and emergency response.
