Cedar City Gun Club operates regular trap night competitions with weekly results posted online. Trap night champions receive pins each week. The club maintains archived competition results dating back to 2011, showing consistent participation and competitive activity.

The annual Firecracker 4x50 event draws shooters from Alabama, Kentucky, Indiana, and throughout Tennessee. The 8th Annual Firecracker in 2015 attracted 41 shooters despite competing with the Tennessee State Sporting Clays Championship. The club provides refreshments including homemade ice cream, catered lunch from Meme's Country Cookin', and breakfasts throughout the event.
The club hosts this 100-target skeet event. The inaugural 2015 Cedar City Open drew competitors from East Tennessee, West Tennessee, and Kentucky despite rainy weather conditions.
Cedar City Gun Club runs an annual Toy Shoot fundraiser supporting local kids' Christmas. In 2015, the club raised $1,500 for children who wouldn't otherwise have gifts, delivering presents to three area schools.
