Austin County Youth Bullseye Club operates a dedicated precision rifle facility in Sealy, Texas serving junior shooters, 4-H competitors, and developing marksmen. The club specializes in smallbore and air rifle disciplines across multiple shooting positions—3-position metric, conventional, and prone.
The club maintains its own shooting facility at 7311 SH-36S, Sealy, Texas 77474. Training and practice sessions run Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The range supports both indoor and outdoor shooting with proper target systems for precision measurement.
The club provides all rifles and major equipment needed for 4-H competition. Shooters are required to supply: - Shooting glasses - Ear protection (ear plugs preferred)
ACYBC shooters have reached state, regional, and national levels: - 2021 NRA Nationals: Skye Youngblood (age 14) competed at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, collecting multiple medals including honors in conventional prone and metric positions. She was selected for the Randle Team—one of 12 women chosen annually to compete in a postal match against England. - 2021 CMP Nationals: Team members competed at Camp Perry on Lake Erie against 137+ competitors in metric 3-position - NCAA Scholarships: Brandon Mueske signed with Jacksonville State University (Ohio Valley Rifle Conference). Harley Gardner signed with University of Mississippi on rifle scholarship. Lee Michalik continues education at Texas A&M. Elizabeth Eckelberg won the District 11 4-H Rifle Scholarship. - State Championships: Multiple team placements in Texas 4-H State Indoor Rifle matches, with individual shooters making finals and earning marksman honors - Olympic Connection: Multiple ACYBC coaches and alumni have connections to Olympic trials and development programs
The club is led by experienced coaches including Brian Gardner and Keili Gardner, who have track records developing junior shooters into collegiate and national competitors.
