Garrett's Sporting Goods has been serving shooters on both sides of the Texarkana border for over 30 years. Stan and Martha Garrett built this business on the principle that customers are family—not just transaction IDs. Both their Texas location (3102 Richmond Road, Texarkana, TX 75503) and Arkansas location (4001 South State Line Ave, Texarkana, AR 71854) carry the same inventory and philosophy.
Firearms: Handguns, rifles, shotguns. Glock stocking dealer at both locations.
Ammunition: Full ammo selection for hunting, competition, and range shooting.
Optics & Accessories: - Scopes, red dots, and green dot sights - Thermal and infrared vision equipment (popular for hog hunting) - Spotting scopes and Mantis training systems - Gun cases, holsters, sling attachments - AR-15 parts and components - Brass catchers and sighting tools
Class III/Silencers: Licensed FFL (General ATF) and SOT (Class III) dealer at both locations. Garrett's is a Silencer Shop kiosk dealer—complete your purchase online, come in for fingerprints and passport photo, submit to BATF. Full process takes 15-20 minutes. ATF eForm approvals have reduced wait times significantly.
Custom Knives: Partners with Forged in Fire judges Doug Marcaida and Ricardo Vilar, plus Master Bladesmith Jerry Fisk and the James Black School of Blade-Smithing.
Garrett's has a gunsmith on staff who can customize and tailor weapons to your specifications. Whether you need work done on a new gun or restoration on a family heirloom, they can handle it.
Their Arkansas store sits inside the Rocky Creek Outdoors Shooting Complex, which means you can shop, then immediately put rounds downrange. The complex features:
No Transfer Fees Between Locations: Buy at the Texas store, pick up at Arkansas (or vice versa) without paying a transfer fee. This is unique and saves money if you're crossing the state line regularly.
