Kinetic Kids TX

SA Xtreme Archery operates as part of Kinetic Kids in San Antonio, offering competitive archery training specifically designed for athletes with physical disabilities. The program focuses on concentration, strength, and accuracy—whether athletes use compound or recurve bows.

• •Equipment: Right or left-hand bows and all gear supplied
• •Adaptive Setup: Coaches assess each athlete's abilities and modify equipment accordingly—mouth tabs, adaptive devices, and specialized positioning
• •Professional Coaching: Technique training and skill development to help athletes compete at higher levels
• •Two Seasons: Indoor (September–February) and outdoor (March–July) training

Athletes must:

• •Be independently ambulatory or use assistive devices (crutches, walker, wheelchair)
• •Independently set up on the shooting line
• •Follow range safety commands and bow/arrow guidelines
• •Pull back the string/arrow independently (with or without adaptive devices)
• •Train in group settings without 1:1 volunteer support
• •Comprehend and retain rules, building skills week to week
