Cedar Ridge Range sits in Bulverde, serving San Antonio, New Braunfels, Austin, and South Texas. The range setup is intentional: multiple bays instead of one or two long ranges. This means smaller groups shooting around you at any given time—you're not standing next to a crowd.
Core shooting options: - Rifle and Handgun: $20 per person/day, paper targets up to 100 yards - Juniors (13 and under): $10/day (must have supervising adult) - Steel bays: $20 base + $6.50 additional fee
No overhead eves interfering with your stance or vision. Registered shooters can use multiple rifles and handguns during one visit at no extra charge—Cedar Ridge doesn't bill per gun.
Want to make steel ring? Bring your handgun cartridge firearms or shotguns to the steel bays. Shotgun shooting requires renting a shotgun-specific frame ($15) or using your own frame on steel plates.
Allowed on handgun steel: - 22LR, 25/32/380ACP, 9mm, 38SPL, 357SIG, 38SUPER, 357MAG, 40S&W, 10MM, 44SPL, 44MAG, 45ACP, 45COLT - Lead birdshot and buckshot (shotgun only) - No steel shot or slugs on plates

Corporate events, bachelor parties, charity outings—Cedar Ridge handles the trappers, clay birds, tables, and chairs. For groups bringing outside food, there's a $7 per non-shooter fee.
$20 archery fee gives you access to 3 separate shooting positions: - 2 lanes on elevated platform - 4 lanes on ground level - 1 tree stand lane (ground level)
Bring your own targets or rent cubes by the hour ($8 for smaller, $11 for larger). Field point only on rentals—no broadheads.
Standard Membership - $180/year adult, $90/year junior (under 14) - Unlimited free range use during operating hours - 3% off in-store merchandise (except used firearms) - $20 discounted FFL transfers - Discounted private bay rentals

If you want your own space, Cedar Ridge rents private bays at hourly rates that vary by day/time and membership status. Free loaner equipment includes spotting scopes, sandbags, and rifle/pistol rests.

Cedar Ridge runs a tight ship. Zero tolerance policy. Eye and ear protection mandatory for everyone. No intoxication or drugs. No full auto, bump fire, or binary triggers.
First-time visitors or returning after a break: you read the rules in person and take a short staff quiz to prove you understand them. Roving Range Officers keep things safe—ceasefire calls happen verbally among shooters sharing your bay.
Key restrictions: - Spectators not allowed on concrete pads or downrange - Minors under 18 must have supervising legal guardian (share lane unless space allows) - Only shoot at angles where bullets hit the backstop berm - Fire from designated firing line only - Pick up your brass if you want it—leave the rest
