MAC TAC began because the owner got tired of battling rust on firearms in Oregon's wet climate. After seeing how well Cerakote held up on a rifle purchased from Next Generation Arms, he decided to coat his entire collection—then realized there was demand for the service.
Cerakote is a ceramic coating that outlasts traditional finishes in three critical areas:
"It allows easier cleaning, longer component life, and exceptional aesthetics."
Every firearm gets detail-stripped and prepped through six steps:
1. Acetone solution soak 2. 80-grit garnet sand blasting 3. Kiln/oven gas-out 4. Ceramic coating spray application 5. Kiln/oven cure (or air cure for C-series products) 6. Reassembly and function test
