Hobble Creek Shooting Range

Hobble Creek Shooting Range is an outdoor range on Canyon Drive in Mapleton, Utah, run by volunteer range officers elected annually.

Firearms must be unloaded with actions open as soon as they are uncased, and rifle racks are provided for safe storage. A range officer is on duty to enforce safe handling, inspect firearms and ammunition, and can expel anyone handling a firearm unsafely. On the firing line, shooters keep the muzzle pointed up or downrange, leave actions open until ready to fire, and are limited to one firearm on the bench at a time; sessions are capped at thirty minutes when the range is busy. Ear protection is required for everyone present, including non-shooters and children, and no smoking is allowed within 25 feet of the firing line. The range is only open when a range officer is present to supervise.

The range hosts an NRL22 precision rifle match series with a match held every month, open to shooters of all skill levels, with schedules and scores managed through an online club scoring system.
